Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Historic East Stroudsburg University Postcard Collection consists of 100 postcards from the university and its former iterations. They are separated into 3 Series: Buildings, Aerial Views, and Statues. Series I: Buildings (1893-1983) include postcards of buildings from three of the university’s previous schools. Scope and Contents From the Collection:

The John Bunch Papers includes original compositions by John Bunch, images that he took of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, and other musicians, at clubs and during his world tours, and materials, such as his White House invitation, a full color poster advertising Tony Bennett at the London Palladium, newspaper and magazine interviews, and John’s own articles and published letters. Original name and title spellings on the slide labels were retained.

Scope and Contents From the Series:

Series II: Personal Documents includes personal correspondence, baby birth notices, church directories, commencement program, news clippings, obituaries, and a copy of Stroudsburg in the Poconos, 1815-1965. Additionally, this series contains Josephine B. Kerns’ correspondence, news clippings, her obituary, and letters of condolences sent to Ruth after Josephine’s death in 1986.

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

Collection of East Stroudsburg University athletic hall of fame files. Included in the collection are certificates, correspondence, photographs, Berniak award winners, and documents relating to athletic banquets.
